About NENS EcoBuild

Who We Are

A renovation company built on a simple belief: that people deserve work done with care, done right, and done without the headaches that have become normal in this industry.

The Company

Why NENS EcoBuild exists

NENS EcoBuild was built on a simple idea: that residential renovation should be managed with the same discipline, transparency, and standards as any professional project — and that sustainability should be part of that from the beginning, not treated as an optional extra.

We're a Greater Toronto Area company focused on bathrooms, kitchens, interior upgrades, and full-home renovations. Every project comes with healthier material choices, more efficient systems, durable finishes, and a written fixed-price proposal before work begins. Every project gets the same care, regardless of size.

We'd rather do a small number of projects exceptionally well than scale fast and lose what makes this company worth choosing.

Meet the Founder

Nataly Spinosa

I'm a PMP®-certified Project Manager and LEED® AP BD+C with a Bachelor of Engineering and over a decade of experience leading projects in the energy and technology sectors — and I wanted to bring that discipline into an industry that desperately needs it.

I've always been drawn to transformation. Taking something worn down or neglected and turning it into a space that actually works for the people who live in it. The planning, the coordination, the moment a project comes together — I genuinely love that process.

What I don't love is the way renovations so often go wrong. I've lived through it as a client, and I've heard the same stories from homeowners across the GTA. Trades who don't show up. Budgets that quietly grow. Communication that disappears the moment a deposit is paid. Quality that gets lost when no one is actively managing the process.

I started NENS EcoBuild because I knew there was a better way to run this kind of work — and because professional project management, which is standard in engineering, is practically unheard of in residential renovation.

What I bring to every project

Planning is where projects are won or lost. I'm detail-oriented, I hold high standards for planning and quality, and I believe there's always a better way to do things. The scope may vary. The standard doesn't.

Sustainability, the way I actually mean it

I built NENS EcoBuild with a clear commitment to sustainability — not as a marketing line, but as the right way to build.

That means using materials that protect indoor air quality. Making choices that reduce energy and water use over the long life of the home. Building things that last. This is what LEED represents — and it shapes every decision we make.

Sustainable building isn't a premium add-on at NENS. It's the baseline.

Honest about where we are

We're a new company. What we bring to every project we take on:

A PMP®-certified project manager personally leading your work. LEED® principles applied to material and system selections. A written, fixed-price proposal before any work begins. Modern project management tools — including AI-assisted planning and scheduling — that give you real-time visibility into your renovation. And a single point of contact from your first phone call to your final walkthrough.

I'm building this company carefully, deliberately, and with a focus on reputation over scale.

What We Stand For

What we stand for

These aren't slogans. They're the standards every project gets measured against.

Honesty

We tell you what a project will really cost, what it will really take, and what to expect — before we start. If something changes mid-project, we tell you immediately and explain the options. No hidden costs. No surprise change orders. No quiet timeline drifts.

Respect

Your home is one of the most important things you own. We treat it — and you — with the care that deserves. Clear communication. Showing up when we said we would. Cleaning up after ourselves. Talking to you like an adult who deserves to know what's happening in their own home.

Sustainability

Every decision considers environmental impact and the wellbeing of the people who'll live with it. Materials, methods, and systems that support healthier living, lower energy use, and a home built to last decades — not just look good for a few years.

Accountability

We deliver on our commitments. When the unexpected happens — and in renovation, it sometimes does — we own it, explain it, and solve it together. We don't disappear. We don't deflect. We don't hide behind subcontractors.

Our Approach

How we work

Every NENS project is run on the same principles, regardless of size:

One point of contact.

You work directly with Nataly, the founder, from your first call to your final walkthrough. No passing the project between sales, designers, and trades.

Written, fixed-price proposals.

Detailed scope and pricing in writing before any work begins.

Modern project management.

Including AI-assisted planning and scheduling, so you have real-time visibility into your project at every stage.

Healthier materials by default.

Low-VOC finishes, sustainable sourcing, and material choices made for long-term performance.

Documented commitments.

Written timelines, written change orders, written communication. The same project rigour you'd expect from a commercial engineering firm — applied to your home.
